My husband and I got to spend a weekend away just the two of us and we decided to go to the city of angels! We stayed at the beautiful Hotel Indigo DTLA located right in the heart of the downtown area. Those city views from all areas of the room were hard to beat. We got in late the first night & had drinks at their 18Social Lounge located on the rooftop + they were having a fun all white event. We hadnรขโฌโขt eaten dinner yet so we walked over to Strada Eateria & Bar to enjoy delicious Italian dishes and an amazing ice cream sandwich dessert!
The next morning we enjoyed brunch at Metropole restaurant located inside of the hotel lobby before we headed off to West Hollywood area for shopping at the Beverly center and strolling down Melrose Ave. and where are my VPR fans at?! We walked by Katie and Arianaรขโฌโขs infamous Something About Her sandwich shop which was closed by the time we got there ๐ but it looked so cute! Down the street was Pump, TomTom and we decided to pop in SUR for some cocktails before our dinner reservation. It was honestly underwhelming but the cocktail was tasty and it was fun reminiscing on where the show used to take place! We had reservations at the lovely Toca Madera that night and it was beyond fabulous with a custom four course meal and menu made just for us! We were blown away. I highly recommend this restaurant for delicious drinks and Spanish style dishes when in WeHo + the vibes were so high, they even had a guitarist walking around serenading everyone! I loved that the bar had an open roof with greenery draping around.
