We had stunning views and accommodations at the Cabo location so we were excited to check out this spot in Rivera Maya which was phenomenal. I had never seen anything like it. This property was insanely huge including two large lobby areas and sides of the resort (Azul and Rojo) which you can ride back and forth to via golf carts that the staff drives you in like little taxis. We saw so many unique lizards and wildlife, my kids loved spotting the Sereques in the area and if you’re lucky you can even find some monkeys hanging in the trees.
Our room was stunning and perfect for the family including double beds with its own bathroom and balcony for the kids and our own conjoined room with king bed, bathroom, balcony and staircase to a gorgeous sky deck! We loved having breakfast up there every morning and it even had a bath to enjoy along with a bar area.
There were so many restaurants to choose from we didn’t get to experience them all but our absolute favorite was the French restaurant we dined at for our last night. The titanic violinist performance made it so special. We were invited to attend the Camp Rockaway event which had daily schedules filled with fun activities for any age group to enjoy! Our most memorable was the color foam party, it was so cool to see!
The property also contained private mini beaches which were out of this world. We had a cabana one day and it was amazing taking in the scenery and taking the kayak out on the water. The service was outstanding as well! The resort even has its own adult only side of the property called Heaven, which includes its own adult only restaurants, pools and beaches as well. It was a literal slice of heaven.
It doesn’t stop there with the fact that this location has its own water park too! Yes you heard that right. It’s a kids dream at Rockaway Bay. My kids had the best time in the lagoon. Next door is another kids paradise at Vibe City which is an indoor playground, trampoline park and bowling alley.
