Any form of potato is truly my love language but there is just something special about this delicious scalloped version to pair perfectly with a rich and cheesy fondue. It’s baked to perfection and you really can’t mess it up! I typically add random cheeses that I have on hand and different varieties just make it even better. Tasty for leftovers too!
Ingredients:
1 whole shallot chopped
3-5 garlic cloves minced
8-12 Yukon gold potatoes washed
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup plain cream cheese
1/2-1 stick butter
Salt/pepper
2-4 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
Parmesan cheese
Add butter, garlic and chopped shallots to pot on medium high heat. Add in cream and cheeses when melted and stir in seasoning to let simmer for 10-15 until smooth texture. Remove from heat and place over sliced potatoes in a casserole dish and bake in the oven for about 20-40 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy!
