We just got back from celebrating Summerfest at the amazing Ava Resort Cancun and it was full of fun activities, delicious cuisines, incredible views, good vibes and top notch service. This property truly has it ALL, my kids couldn’t get enough and I wish we had more nights to stay because there was so much to do. The kids club was awesome, you walk down a rainbow entrance to a kids ultimate paradise full of a giant indoor playground with slides, obstacles leading to a glow in the dark ball pit. There is several indoor trampolines and seesaws to play with then walk over to the quiet reading room with bean bags and even a mini movie theater! It even has a cute art room upstairs for the kids to get creative. I love that the kids club has “family time” where parents are allowed to join in the fun but other than those times you’ll have to bring your kids passports if you’re planning to have them stay with staff and be supervised. This made me feel really comfortable since my kids are young and I usually don’t trust many people to watch them without me – so I had peace of mind knowing no other adults were allowed in the facility during those hours. Close by they had mini bowling which was so much fun, we didn’t get a chance to try the laser tag, escape room or ForzaMX simulator because we simply didn’t have enough time but I would have totally if we had the chance!

The pools were the main area we enjoyed because it was better than the beach! So warm and many areas to choose to relax in. The main pool had a giant blow up obstacle course to adventure on or take the kayak/paddle board to roam around it too. The beach is secluded right there too but we encountered Sargassum season so we had to stay out of the ocean this trip. The pool felt like the beach anyways! We saw lizards on property and had delicious poolside drinks and snacks. I love that the pools had areas suited for any age or desire. The waterpark was the perfect size with fun slides and water play.
